Key responsibilities Wound assessment and treatment: Evaluate wounds to determine their type, stage, and size, and then create and implement individualized treatment plans. Wound care procedures: Perform wound care duties such as cleaning, debriding (removing dead tissue), and applying dressings, while ensuring sterile techniques are used.
