Job Opportunity: CNA Training-Accepting applications for High School Students

Starting Pay: Starts at $16.00/hour, after graduation start at $19.00/hour

Responsibilities: At Apple Rehab Clipper, the role of a Nursing Attendant does the following tasks

  • Answer call lights

  • Pass out linen to residents

  • Make Beds

  • Takedown beds (3-11)

  • Take trash outside

  • Take dirty linen down to purity bin

  • Empty trash from residents' rooms

  • Transport residents back and forth to meals

  • Pass out meals

  • Clear dishes after meals and write down the intake 

  • Pass out drinks to residents

  • Pick up in-house laundry from residents bathrooms

  • Re-supply personal care products in residents beside drawer

  • Re-supply personal care products in CNA closet

  • Pass out snacks between meals

  • Label washbasins that hold personal care products with residents names

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in High School and at least 16 

  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions by others.

  • Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.

  • Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the residents and their support networks.
