SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12 hour shift)

 

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
  • Prepares and administers medications charts as required
  • Administers treatments
  • Consults with physicians
  • Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

  • Long term care experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in AR (or hold a compact license)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills

Home Health LPN

Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect intermittent skilled nursing care or guidance to Home Health patients under the direction and or supervision of the RN Case Manager. The LPN follows direction from the established patient care plan and physician orders. The LPN will effectively communicate changes in patient status, symptoms, and results of any diagnostic tests to the Physician, the Registered Nurse Case Manager, or designee as required. Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting under supervision of a registered nurse and work collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
