Caregiver / CNA / Home Health Aide Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands
  • Safe mobility and transfers
  • Transportation to appointments and outings
  • Care for clients in pet-friendly homes

Caregiver Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional caregiving experience 
  • CNA, HHA, PCA, or In-Home Caregiver experience welcomed
  • 18+ with HS diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license & insured vehicle
  • Comfortable using a smartphone app
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Pass a background check

Position Summary The Caregiver offers personal care and companionship during scheduled hours, ensuring client comfort, safety, and peace of mind. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working independently and providing essential care when families cannot be present. Key Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support during scheduled hours. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as: Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing) Toileting or incontinence care Mobility support and repositioning for comfort Monitor client’s condition and promptly report changes to supervisor. Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, tidying, meal prep if needed). Ensure a safe environment, including fall prevention and emergency response. Offer medication reminders according to the care plan. Qualifications Previous caregiving, home care, or CNA experience preferred, but not required training provided. Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for client visits). Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
