Responsibilities Through a unique collaboration between Universal Health Services and Providence Health Services, Inland Northwest Behavioral Health became the first free-standing mental health hospital in the city of Spokane, Washington. The 100 bed hospital, located near the Sacred Heart Medical Campus, nestled into the hillside, consolidating the public areas and service spaces on the first floor. The facility includes a dining room, a gym, and each of the four units have 2 activity rooms—one for louder activities, such as music and movies, and another for quiet activities. There are also two outdoor courtyards, as well as offices and administrative spaces.
