Qualifications

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
Education: Maintain state certification as a certified nursing assistant
Experience: 1+ years of nursing assistant experience in a hospital or long-term care facility
Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Smithfield, Virginia Overview Works under the supervision of Care Manager (RN or PT) to provide personal care, comfort measures and environmental services for patients (including those needing special precautions) and performs specified treatments. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide the care needed as described according to the departmental policy and procedure. Promotes and maintains safe work environment for staff as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
