
Registered Nurse - Gynecologic Oncology Clinic
Job Description
Compassionate and detail oriented Registered Nurse wanted for Our Gynecologic Oncology Team. This role involves providing clinical support to patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for gynecologic cancer, including pre-operative, post-operative, and surveillance care. Qualified candidates may receive a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus with a One-Year Commitment. The nurse will play a critical role in patient education, care coordination, and clinical triage, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Education - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience - Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Active RN Mississippi Licensure.
Special Skills - Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric, limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime.

- Deliver high-quality nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing clinical functions with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
- Complete prior authorizations for surgeries, radiologic studies, and medications.
- Coordinate care across specialties and departments to support continuity and comprehensive treatment planning.
- Educate patients and their families about gynecologic cancers, treatment options, recovery expectations, and self-care strategies.
- Serve as a chaperone during gynecologic exams and assist providers with in-office procedures.
