Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Current nursing certification
- Experience with suctioning and tube feeding (preferred)
- Previous work supporting students or pediatrics in a school environment (a plus)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic school setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care, including suctioning and tube feeding assistance throughout the school day
- Remain present in the classroom, supporting the student’s health needs while encouraging interaction with peers and staff
- Collaborate with another nurse (who manages transportation) to provide seamless coverage and support
- Serve as additional nursing support within the school building when the student is absent, ensuring a safe environment for all students
- Maintain detailed health records and communicate regularly with school staff and the student’s family
