School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Quincy, Massachusetts

A contract position is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse to serve in a health office role for an Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from July 1st to August 1st, 2026. Work four days each week, from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, and make a difference during summer school.

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (highly preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, nurturing approach toward students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily care, first aid, medication, and emergency interventions as needed
  • Monitor and manage student health plans
  • Respond to illness or injury promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Serve as a healthcare resource for students, staff, and families
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to address health-related needs
