Complete Care at Germantown is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our 121-bed skilled nursing facility in Germantown, Wisconsin. Formerly known as Virginia Highlands Care and Rehab Center, our 4-star overall rated facility is committed to delivering exceptional care while creating a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities Director of Nursing (DON):

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the nursing department

  • Ensure high standards of resident care and clinical performance

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company regulations

  • Lead survey readiness efforts and quality improvement initiatives

  • Mentor and support nursing managers, supervisors, and frontline staff

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes

  • Manage staffing, scheduling oversight, and clinical operations

  • Support infection prevention, risk management, and policy implementation

  • Foster a positive and accountable clinical culture

Qualifications Director of Nursing (DON):

  • Active RN license in Wisconsin

  • Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility

  • Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey process

  • Proven leadership experience within post-acute or long-term care

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills

  • Passion for delivering high-quality resident-centered care
