Position Summary:

Essential Functions of State Tested Nursing Assistants:

·       Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

·       Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.

·       Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.

·       Adhere to all policies and procedure of CCH Corporation.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.

  • Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency. Communication: Maintain good relationships with the patient, the patient’s family, and staff.
