JOB HIGHLIGHTS--Licensed Practical Nurse part time

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities--Licensed Practical Nurse part time

Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
Communicating effectively with residents and staff
Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Night (United States of America) Licensed Practical Nurse- Hospice (Field) The Field Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care to hospice patients in a variety of settings and levels of care under the direct supervision of an RN. Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays as assigned to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week care assigned to a variety of teams/duties. Responsibilities include: • Providing care to the terminally ill patient • Reinforcing patient and family training and education • Performing patient assessment and documentation • Participating in the comprehensive Interdisciplinary Plan of Care • Participating in the Quality Improvement activities All services will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as assigned to a variety of teams and duties.
