Responsibilities:

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients in their home environment.
Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and Synergy HomeCare staff.

Qualifications:

Compassionate, patient and positive demeanor.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules and care plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required – we offer training for the right candidates.

Our unit is unique because we have a blended emergency department and inpatient stepdown care delivery model. Our patient population encompasses a variety of diagnoses and levels of care. Shifts Available: Full-Time Day Shift - 6:45 am - 7:15 pm (three 12-hour shifts/week) Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week) Shifts rotate throughout the week Note: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.
