Job Duties & Requirements:

Contributes to the nursing process and implements a resident plan of care.
Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and to assist in assessments and evaluation; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Delegates suitable components of care to nursing assistants, providing guidance and supervision when necessary.
Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.
Recognizes and reports safety hazards.
Consults and validates data with other nursing staff and members of healthcare team; records and reports pertinent information; provides explanation to families and other staff.
Assumes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
Interprets philosophy and objectives of the facility and the nursing service to residents, families, and other employees when necessary.
Other duties upon request.
Must have a valid license as an Nurse in the state of practice.
