Marshall Manor is looking for an energetic LVN or RN to join our nursing home family. Preferably with long term care experience to provide compassionate care for our residents. (We do offer extensive training for new LVNs and RNs.)

Responsibilities include passing medications, evaluating condition changes, and providing safe and competent care.

This position is for weekend doubles, 7a-11p Saturday and Sunday.

Summary: Under supervision, the incumbent of this position provides professional nursing care to clinic patients. Works collaboratively with the providers within the team setting to facilitate quality care for the patient. Responsibilities: Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients. Observes, records, and reports patients’ condition and reaction to drugs or treatments to providers. Oversees appointment bookings and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Maintains timely flow of patients. Greets patients and obtains well-documented history and vitals. The LVN functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, and utilizes the nursing process in implementation of patient's care. Those services are performed under the supervision of a registered nurse but utilize all nursing skills to make safe, appropriate and independent decisions within the scope of the LVN nursing practice.
