Position Title: RN Supervisor

Valley View Manor is looking for an energetic and compassionate Nurse Supervisor (RN) for our 82-bed facility located in Norwich, NY.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care.
  • Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift.
  • Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
  • Demonstrate ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in long-term care setting.
  • Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse.
  • Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as necessary.
  • Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred'
