Work hours: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. Day shift, Monday to Friday, no weekend requirements.

Plan of Care and Technical Skills:
- Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others
- Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
- Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.
- Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
- Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise plan of care to meet
- Individualizes care measures to reflect specific patient population. Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
- Demonstrates critical thinking.
- Adheres to national safety goals in care delivery.
- Monitors patients.
- Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and
- Uses Unit Based Council structure.
- Flexible with scheduling to help meet departmental/patient needs.
- Adapts to changes in workload assignment to meet changing needs of the individual patient or the unit.

- LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse required for Texas.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly, required.
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days of hire, required.
- 6 (six) months previous experience in an acute care hospital setting or completion of a THR residency program, required.
- Previous experience with Prenatal and Infusion is preferred.
