Lead Certified Medical Assistant – Naperville - Family Practice

 

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. 
  • Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies. 
  • Assists with coordinating staff meetings. 
  • Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members.Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution. 
  • Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures. 
  • May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. 
  • Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.
  • Certified or Registered preferred but not necessary
  • CPR Certification required
  • A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field
  • Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance
  • Leadership skills

  • Ability to provide accurate and sufficient charting/messages

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00-26.45 based on certification, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.

All Locations Two locations in Park Ridge, Buffalo Grove, Des Plaines, and Glenview. Our staff is off on all of the 6 Advocate holidays (NYD, Memorial day, July 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) with the option to take the time as paid/unpaid as our clinics are not open.
