What You’ll Do
As an RN in Chemotherapy, you’ll plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients. You’ll support psychosocial needs, collaborate with physicians, and guide personnel involved in patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing accurate and timely body system assessments, including pain evaluation
- Assessing patient and family educational needs and expectations for each visit
- Incorporating clinical indicators—labs, radiology results, vital signs—into SBAR hand‑off reports
- Assessing biological, psychological, physical, and cultural needs of patients and their families
- Recognizing and continuously monitoring changes in patient condition
- Directing and monitoring personnel who assist in delivering patient care
This role blends clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and a commitment to safe, compassionate oncology care.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS required
- ACLS required within three (3) months of employment
- Oncology experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
