Gateway Endoscopy Center is looking to add a PRN Endoscopy Tech who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!

At Gateway Endoscopy Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Endoscopy Tech at Gateway Endoscopy Center:

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Certification in Endoscope reprocessing a plus
  • One to three years previous experience in GI Lab a plus
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
  • Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab environment
  • Must be able to function as a team player
  • Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal

The surgical technologist may be assigned other functions as deemed necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Major Job Functions The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Knows and follows aseptic technique when performing scrub duties and support duties for the department.
