Job Responsibilities

  • Serving residents in post-acute facilities as an LPN
  • Documenting residents' medical histories and any health concerns in a timely manner
  • Keeping track of residents' vital signs, mental health, and physical conditions
  • Monitoring the charts and medical records of residents
  • Helping with the dispensing and verification of medications, and monitoring their effects
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Providing assistance with IV set up, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Assisting with medical supply storage and maintaining proper inventories
  • Helping staff with the orientation and training of new hires
  • Being accountable to adhere to care plans for residents and to follow all applicable regulations and policies

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current New Jersey state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • 6 months experience as a LPN (or similar role)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Administer radioligand therapy under physician direction following established protocols. Perform patient identification, verification, and education before RLT procedures. Monitor patients during and after administration for adverse reactions and provide supportive care. Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA) for patients, staff, and self. Document all procedures, doses, and patient outcomes accurately in clinical records and nuclear medicine systems. Maintain and operate imaging and therapy equipment used in RLT administration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, pharmacy, and radiology staff. Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and materials used in therapy preparation and administration. Participate in continuing education and training related to new therapies and radiopharmaceuticals. Qualifications: Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field. Certification: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification required. Licensure: State licensure as required. Experience: Experience in therapeutic nuclear medicine or radioligand therapy preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of radiopharmaceutical handling and safety.
