Nurse/RN/LPN Requirments: Current RN or LPN licensure to practice professional nursing in the state Two years of nursing experience (home health/hospice preferred) Current CPR certification Must have the knowledge, the ability, the necessary skill, and judgment to perform all nursing procedures under the direction of a physician as outlined in the scope of practice in the State’s Nurse Practice Act. Meets the requirements for employees providing direct client care Must have a valid driver’s license and use an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed on the job Nurse/RN/LPN Work Environment: Primarily works in client’s place of residence; travel may be required Shift times and days vary with client needs. Other Related Functions Qualifications Education/Training• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department. Licensure/Certification• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLCmultistate RN license• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for Neonatal Intensive care Unit(NICU).• Must possess a valid driver’slicense and hasreliable transportation to travel to perform job dutiesfor Hospital Care at Home Inhome nursing Experience1 year experience required
