Overview A Licensed Practical Nurse bears full responsibility for the quality of health care they provide to the residents at Seven Hills Pediatric Center. A Licensed Practical Nurse may delegate nursing activities to assigned health care personnel. Assist in training staff in medication policies and procedures.•Maintain health records according to various government agencies as required. Ensure that information is communicated to residential staff and school program regarding recommendations and treatment.•Consult with residential Registered Nurse for supervision and direction as needed to ensure appropriate medical health care is provided for participants.•Attend staff meetings to present all current medical/health concerns and any upcoming medical appointments to team.•Complete all mandatory in-service education in a timely manner and attend any educational programs at the recommendation of the Program Manager.•Implement procedures and services including medical interventions, or additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager or residential Registered Nurse.•Ensure that residents are sufficiently observed to maintain their safety and optimal health.
