Registered Nurse (Part-time-20 hour -Night)

$42.23 - $54.30 / hour
Position Title: Staff Registered Nurse FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Nursing Shift Supervisors, Manager, Nursing Services POSITION SUMMARY: Performs varied professional nursing work (i.e., assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care provided to patients). Observes and reports symptoms and reactions of patients and takes appropriate actions. Directs and guides patient/family teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel. Serves as team leader and/or charge nurse as assigned and performs within the scope of professional practice and license. Wage Range: $42.23/hour to $54.30/hour The posted wage is in accordance with the respective collective bargaining agreement and is the current starting or new graduate wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position, which may warrant a higher wage in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors consistent with the relevant collective bargaining agreement. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Certification/Licensure: Current State of Hawaii RN licensure. Current healthcare BLS certification Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements. Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Skills/Experience: Completion of required clinical experiences from an accredited nursing school as a new graduate. Knowledge of the nursing process and quality improvement process. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team. Leadership skills to manage a team of staff nurses. Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Certification/Licensure: Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Certification (CRRN) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Skills/Experience: One (1) year experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation or acute care nursing as a RN.

Assistant Manager of Nursing (Full Time - Day)

Position Title: Assistant Manager of Nursing FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Clinical Nurse Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Manages and directs, with accountability and responsibility, nursing services and staff and coordinates the activities of hospital support personnel during the evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring the delivery of integrated patient-centered care and uninterrupted services. Implements policies and procedures, union contract provisions, accreditation and other regulatory requirements. Provides direct patient care and coverage when necessary and within the scope of professional practice and license. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON) and department managers regarding the administrative management of the hospital during these shifts. Keeps the Manager, Nursing Managers informed of issues related to patient care, operations, risk and continuous improvement activities, on a timely basis. Clinical Nurse Educator

Position Title: Clinical Nurse Educator FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Nursing POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Nurse Educator develops, organizes, and executes the nursing educational plan to ensure staff clinical competence within the nursing scope and standards of practice, organizational expectations, and compliance with Joint Commission regulatory requirements. The Clinical Nurse Educator supports the development of the clinical staff as an educator, consultant, and change agent, empowering staff to achieve excellence in the delivery of evidenced based nursing practice and continuous professional development.
