Responsibilities

While no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:

  • Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring

NIGHT SHIFT 7PM-7AM. Must be comfortable providing one on one care for high needs individuals, as well as care for medically fragile. Female only site. 12 hour rotation, every other weekend off.

Overview The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) works under the direction of the registered nurse (RN) as a non-licensed team member. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: Serve as social worker and/or case manager, performing comprehensive mental health and biopsychosocial assessments including clinical interviews and pre-admission evaluations. Conduct admissions for new patients, ensuring completion of admission notes, ROIs (HIPAA, advanced directives, human rights), and informing patients of their Patient Rights.
