Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse:
  • Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet resident needs.
  • Continuously evaluate the quality of care provided to residents and make necessary adjustments.
  • Administer oral medications, subcutaneous, intramuscular injections, and intravenous medications accurately.
  • Monitor residents for side effects of medications and promptly report any problems or symptoms to the Nurse Manager or Supervisor.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to nurse aides to ensure resident care is delivered effectively and according to standards.
     
 
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid LPN certification in PA
  • 2+ years experience in LTC/SNF setting
