Registered Nurse (RN) Day Shift

Minimum Hiring Wage: From $35.79 per hour Job Details: $10,000 sign on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates Scheduled Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm, this position also requires scheduled on-call shifts, response time when on-call is 30 minutes. Job Description: Delivers care to patients intra-operative, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the surgical patient and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Primary duties include but not limited to: circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting surgeon and/or anesthesia providers. Provides high quality care to the following surgical patient populations: Patient of any age undergoing surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General, Orthopedics to include Spine, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology, and Vascular. Clinical care activities and nursing services: Circulating, Instrumenting, First assisting, Patient education, Resource nurse. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry, Pediatric, Behavioral Health, Critical Care. Qualifications: Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum or currently in last semester. Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa or currently in last semester of school. Preferred: IV Conscious Sedation experience. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Cardiac/ Acute Myocardial Infarction ( AMI ), Vascular, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Endocrine, Renal, Pulmonary. Qualifications: Required: Associate Degree in nursing (ADN). Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa. Preferred: Health care experience within the last five years. Critical care experience. Internship in critical care.
