Registered Nurse (RN) | 32 hours per week | Emergency Department

Minimum Hiring Wage: From $35.79 per hour Job Details: Scheduled Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, every other weekend Job Description: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry, Pediatric, Behavioral Health, Critical Care. Qualifications: Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum or currently in last semester. Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa or currently in last semester of school. Preferred: IV Conscious Sedation experience. Preferred: Health care experience within the last five years. Critical care experience. Internship in critical care. Minimum Hiring Wage: From $35.79 per hour Job Details: $10,000 Sign On Bonus for Qualified Candidates Scheduled Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Variable Shifts On-call responsibility, call required with a 30-minute response time. Job Description: The perianesthesia registered nursing roles during phase I recovery focus on providing post anesthesia nursing care to the patient in the immediate post anesthesia period and transitioning them to phase II level of care, the inpatient setting, or to an intensive care setting for continued care,(providing a transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions).
