Description:

This position supports clinical staff in an area of specialization for the advancement of clinical practice and professional development. Applies clinical expertise and advanced critical thinking skills to accomplish concurrent review, data abstraction, report preparation and review of the quality and effectiveness of patient care provided through randomized chart reviews. Educates clinical staff based on the reviews, site needs, and/or new programs/services being implemented. Utilizes innovative quality and education planning; demonstrates knowledge in clinical practice and patient care delivery; collaborates and consults with clinical administrative disciplines for new programs and service improvement. Demonstrates leadership through role modeling, mentoring and utilizing research principles to facilitate and promote evidence based practice.
