A contract nursing opportunity is available in Anderson, SC, seeking an experienced RN or LPN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a high school student. This role involves working closely with a cognitively high-functioning student who is paralyzed and requires specialized support, including ventilator care for candidates with LPN ventilation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care on a 1:1 basis during school hours.
Assist with medical needs and monitor student health throughout the school day.
Provide ventilator support as needed.
Accompany the student during school bus rides to ensure safety and care.
Work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with Wednesdays off.
Maintain clear communication with school staff regarding the student’s health status.

Qualifications:

Valid RN or LPN/LVN license.
Experience working in school nursing settings preferred.
LPNs with ventilation experience are encouraged to apply.
Ability to handle bus transportation requirements.
Compassionate and attentive to the unique needs of a paralyzed, cognitively high-functioning student.
