The protocols are conservative, evidence-based, peer reviewed and provide a thorough and safe level of care with documentation that far exceeds that of a private pediatrician. Overview Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, a Nurse Practitioner is involved in the care of individuals who are undergoing treatment for cancer or other related diagnoses. Responsibilities Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit and participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
