DEFINITION: Implement and assist with nursing care for patients under supervision of Registered Nurse. Provides care to a geriatric population. Functions within the scope of practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. EDUCATION: As required by the State Board of Nursing. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Current Basic Life Support. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program with current Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse license. Must have CPR certification. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered. #ZR

Develop systems to provide safe care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Responsible for the oversight or coverage of the operation and management of all departments under their supervision. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: MSN. Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered. National certification as appropriate to specialty.
