Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant Float to support our Provider Based Clinic offices. This position provides patient care in an office setting under the supervision of a medical provider and supports daily clinical and administrative operations across multiple locations. Job Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors Answer calls, take messages, and document appropriately in the medical record Maintain and update patient medical records Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow Process provider orders, refill requests, referrals, and other clinical requests Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Administer medications, collect lab samples, and perform wound care within scope of practice Provide patient education as directed by the provider Qualifications Valid driver’s license required High school diploma required Previous experience in a medical practice required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must be willing to travel among Jennie Stuart Health Provider Based Clinic offices Medical assistant program completion preferred CMA or RMA certification preferred

Job Summary The Emergency Department Nurse Manager has 24 hour accountability for the daily operations in the nursing unit, serving as a role model and leader. The Emergency Department Nurse Manager oversees and coordinates the emergency care provided by the department and assists the Emergency Department Director with staff development, oversees competencies, assists with quality and risk programs and promotes Jennie Stuart Health goals, philosophies, policies and procedures.
