Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner - PRN

The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides direct medical care to patients requiring hospitalization. They chart medical history, assess health status, diagnose any potential issues, and work with physicians and other health professionals to provide high-quality care. They are in charge of accurately filling out the patients' chart, as well as keeping it up to date as diagnoses and evaluation continue. The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner also orders tests, collects data regarding the patients' status, and communicates with patients' family members as needed. Additionally, these professionals have to communicate regularly with the physician(s) and other members of the health care team to discuss status updates for patients. The Imaging Technologist I has a strong understanding of safety requirements related to imaging services and is proficient in Radiography and is competent in performing holter monitor placement and electrocardiograms. This position may perform IV contrast injection procedures as needed and is required to be qualified to care for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
