Reporting to the Director of International Programs, this position holds full accountability for ensuring efficient workflows, accurate application processing, and compliance with federal regulations governing international students. The Assistant Director manages the review and evaluation of international undergraduate applications, oversees scholarship administration for undergraduate and graduate students, and ensures graduate applications are complete for departmental review. As a Designated School Official (DSO), the Assistant Director is responsible for issuing and maintaining I-20 records, monitoring F-1 visa compliance, and serving as a primary resource for students on immigration and academic matters. The role also leads onboarding and orientation programs for new international students each semester and provides ongoing advising to support student success. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Assistant Director contributes to strategic enrollment goals by coordinating recruitment activities, assisting with marketing initiatives, and fostering collaborative relationships across campus.
