Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neurology to join our team in a hospital-based inpatient setting located in the Greater Westchester, New York area. This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote or hybrid) focused on delivering high-quality neurological care to hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients with neurological conditions in a hospital-based inpatient unit

  • Perform neurological assessments, participate in diagnosis, and manage treatment plans

  • Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the inpatient care team

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress

  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning

  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

  • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license and board certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neurology (inpatient)

  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment
