Your Responsibilities

Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure top-tier care is consistently delivered.
Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols.
Resident Care: Provide compassionate, person-centered care, swiftly addressing concerns.
Compliance and Surveys: Actively participate in facility surveys, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
Team Leadership: Support and mentor nursing staff, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Education and Training: Facilitate in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.
Emergency Response: Lead in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of both residents and staff.
Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.

Qualifications

Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey
Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
