Overview

Job Specifics Primary Care Fellowship

Primary experiences through either primary care, urgent care, or general pediatrics
Experiences in specialty rotations through other service lines for practical experience and exposure
Focus on care in rural and medically underserved practices in primary care, with opportunities to participate in community medical fairs
Procedural experiences include suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and more

Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $47.12-$47.12

Providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF.
Providing such professional Advanced Practice services.
Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided to the Practice and its patients.
Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by Provider or other support staff.
Exercising diligence in assisting the Ministry CEO in keeping costs of the Practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients.
Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to patients of the Practice and the OSF Hospital aligned to the patient's preferences, goals and needs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: • Dedicated virtual care providers must meet minimum requirements for remote care delivery, including: broadband connectivity, a quiet setting with a neutral background to conduct visits from, and the ability to uphold patient privacy per CVSH guidelines. • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to interact with customers in a remote manner, site, write, operate the computer and phone, speak intelligibly, and hear patient responses. • Specific vision abilities include the ability to view and read a computer screen and other electronic devices Responsibilities: • Provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. Overview The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in Cardiovascular Surgery plays an integral role in the comprehensive care of adult cardiothoracic surgical patients.
