Complete Care at Fox Hill is seeking an experienced and clinically strong Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services in our 150-bed skilled nursing facility. Fox Hill is proud to maintain 5-Star Quality Measures, and we’re looking for a DON who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and regulatory success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for all nursing services

  • Maintain and enhance 5-Star Quality Measures through strong clinical oversight and performance improvement

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Partner closely with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary leadership team

  • Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and retention of nursing staff

  • Oversee clinical policies, procedures, infection control, and quality assurance programs

  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and clinical budgets

  • Prepare for and lead state and federal surveys, audits, and plan-of-correction processes

  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active RN license in the state of Connecticut

  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and quality metrics

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and organizational skills

  • Experience leading clinical teams in a mid-to-large size facility preferred

  • Passion for mentoring nurses and driving clinical outcomes
