Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) School Setting
Location: Littlestown, PA
Position Type: Full-Time Contract

A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available in a school setting in Littlestown, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the health room and providing nursing care and support to students during the school day. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children and school staff to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and first aid to students in the health room
  • Monitor and manage student health concerns and records
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents regarding student health issues
  • Assist with health screenings and immunization compliance
  • Respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and school personnel
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills for record keeping

Compensation:
Pay range $30-$35 per hour
