The nurse will work directly with a 9-year-old female student who requires specialized medical care, including G-tube and tracheostomy support. Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM12:00 PM 20 hours per week Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 nursing care and monitor the student's medical needs throughout the school day. Provide tracheostomy care and G-tube support. Monitor airway safety and respond to the student's medical needs. Assist with tube and trach changes alongside another nurse and paraprofessional staff. Use appropriate behavioral support and redirection techniques during care, as the student may become aggressive or attempt to pull at her tracheostomy. Collaborate with the school team to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Active Georgia LPN license. Experience with tracheostomies and G-tubes required.
