Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity – Trauma Center – Montana

Benefis Health System, a large trauma center in Great Falls, Montana, has a rare opening for an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team of board-certified physicians and emergency trained advanced practice providers.

Department Information

  • 33 bed beautiful Emergency Department with recent $12m complete remodel
    • 9 bed RME Unit
    • 11 bed Critical Care Unit
    • 13 bed Clinical Decision Unit
  • High acuity department with 30-35% admission rate
  • Large air ambulance program - fixed wing jet and helicopter completing 3-4 missions a day, 900-1100 flights annually – flight team is based in ED (Adult, OB and NICU specific flight teams on call)
  • 10 hour shifts, approximately 14 shifts per month
  • Great staffing model to promote dedicated, safe patient care – currently staffed with 50 hours of physician coverage daily with APCs and hiring to expand to dual physician coverage 24 hours per day
