This position provides targeted TB testing for persons with risk factors in the Department of Health’s three health centers, in designated clinics or in patient homes. For patients with positive results, this position obtains medical history and arranges additional evaluation and treatment. This position dispenses TB medications and maintains pharmacy inventory. This position documents test results and interactions with patients in an electronic medical record as well as a paper chart. The employee in this position must have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle and automobile insurance. The employee in this position will be required to work day shift, evening shift and weekends as needed. The employee in this position must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift 25 lbs and must be able to complete these activities while wearing an N-95 respirator. Minimum Qualifications Education : A Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Experience : None.
