Job Description:
The EMBRACE Maternal Health Clinical Educator provides clinical education, program coordination, and outreach services to healthcare providers, patients, and community partners. This position leads Registered Nurses and provider education for STAMPP-HTN and biomarker initiatives, coordinates Empower Hour programming, supports community and faith-based education, and facilitates rural training and simulation activities. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous performance improvement to optimize maternal and perinatal outcomes across urban and rural settings.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical nursing experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or compact state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA-endorsed program required.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, facilitation, and public speaking.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability and willingness to travel to rural clinical sites.
• Occasional evening or weekend programming may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN), Education, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience in obstetrics, maternal-child health, or perinatal care.
• Experience with clinical simulation and curriculum development.
• Experience working in rural healthcare settings.
• Relevant specialty certification.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives.
