Resident Support: Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to residents, addressing their needs and preferences while fostering a supportive and empathetic atmosphere. Communication: Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure that residents' needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents' families regarding medication-related concerns and changes in health status. Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation, including medication administration records, resident health observations, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional relevant training or coursework in healthcare or medication administration is a plus. Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, is preferred but not required. Certifications: Current certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) and Nurse Aide (CNA) as required by state of Nebraska regulations. Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
