Job Overview The Certified Medical Assistant functions in a role accountable for providing comprehensive, family-centered care to patients and families in the pediatric orthopedic Outpatient Department. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to join the team. Schedule: PRN The pay range for this position is $16.92-$25.38/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. Responsibilities Assists providers, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures and the intake and depart processes. Demonstrates skills necessary to assist with casting, splinting, and dressing application, removal and cleaning. Safely removes casts, cleans patient, covers affected limb and instructs family on skin care. Accurately documents information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Responsible for prepping clinic to be prepared for that day's clinic to include monitoring supplies and equipment and ordering supplies Utilizes good clinical judgement to identify problems and interventions with patients and families and referral to RN as needed This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.
