Overview The RN Phone Triage responds to inquiries from the general public, medical providers, patients & families, community partners and stakeholders. Timely and accurate information collection, appropriate care advice and dispositioning are essential. The Surgical Specialties unit (6 North-South) is a fast-paced inpatient unit. We specialize in the post-operative care of multiple disciplines including, general surgery, urology, GYN, plastic surgery, vascular, ENT, orthopaedics, pelvic medicine, and post trauma care. Due to the complex nature of these injuries, the Surgical Specialties staff is trained to provide skilled nursing care of chest tubes, multiple drains, VACs, colostomies, ileostomies and complex wound care.
