Unlock your potential at Johnston-Willis Hospital! Job Summary and Qualifications Demonstrates clinical competence in both the Circulating and Scrub Nurse roles. Manages assigned service and staff in conjunction with the Schedule and Clinical Coordinators. Assists Operating Room staff to achieve their potential as members of an effective team through innovative management practices. Plans and provides equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs in advance of the day’s schedule. Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room. Pursues own professional growth and development through continuing education and inservices. Adheres to hospital policies & procedures, support the mission of the hospital. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse Registered Nurse Diploma Minimum 2 years experience as Operating Room RN with demonstrated proficiency leadership and management skills Johnston-Willis Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1909, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology. Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC). Ensure delivery of care is compliant with the federal and state regulations. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education. Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice. Must have at least one year experience as a licensed professional. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education and experience, preferred Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with a review and approval from the regional and executive service line clinical leadership. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
