Responsibilities Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN - PRN Opportunity Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our three outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle . Provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu. Essential Job Duties: Conduct complete nursing assessment of all admissions including risk assessments, educational needs, and medication review. Completes all required nursing documents within established time frame. Actively participate in treatment team decisions, assess patient needs, design and implement programs, and document / evaluate patient responses. Ensure patient’s medication & treatment are administered as prescribed and that documentation reflects the care provided. Initiate and account for Special Treatment Procedures to include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and assist provider in initial TMS assessments and provides all follow up TMS sessions to include proper documentation and billing requirements. Complete needed documentation for insurance authorization and verification for all TMS patients as assigned. Assist Manager in day to day operations to include answering phones, scheduling and verifying patient appointments, filing of paperwork, putting together/breaking down charts, and billing for IOP patients.
