Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their quality of life. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry. Ensure the client’s living space is safe, comfortable, and conducive to their well-being. Assist with organizing personal belongings and maintaining a clutter-free environment. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and balanced meals according to the client’s dietary preferences and any specific health requirements. Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and ensuring that food is stored and prepared safely. Monitor clients’ dietary needs and ensure they are receiving proper nutrition. Health Monitoring: Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, including blood sugar management if applicable. Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients are following prescribed treatment plans. Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings as needed. Ensure the client’s safety during transportation, assisting with getting in and out of vehicles if necessary. Maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Proven background in caregiving, with specific experience in personal care and blood sugar management. Skills: Ability to perform all tasks with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle. Background Check: Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening. Documentation: Applicants must have a copy of their high school diploma, valid driver’s license, a copy of their birth certificate, and a social security card. Position Summary: Provides nursing services to Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients in accordance with established nursing standards and practices; sets-up electrical and hemodynamic transducers and amplifiers; records and obtains hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data; assesses patients during invasive cardiac procedures; and delivers therapy as required. Assesses learning needs of patient and family and develops and initiates teaching plan. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members. Assists with identification of Department or Health system education needs and provides 2-3 hours of in-service education annually. Participates on unit-based committee/serves as council representatives with 75% participation.
